Are you always in a hurry to accomplish something in life?
To reach your goals?
To be a good parent?
To be a good partner?
or
Do you spend your time asking yourself, why I don’t have.....?
Perhaps you should ask “What’s present in my life that’s preventing me from getting what’s missing in my life?”
It may sound like an odd way to ask the question but the way you phrase questions to yourself will dictate how you think about everything. And if you change the way you think, you can change your results.
Do your actions match your values? Ask yourself important why questions.
For example, here are my 5 Whys?
Why do I want to better understand nutrition?
Because I want to prevent chronicle illness.
And why does that matter?
Because then I’ll be able to live a more productive life
And why do I want to live a more productive life?
Because I'll enjoy life to the fullest.
And why do I want to enjoy life to the fullest?
Because living my life to the fullest will allow me to share and help others.
And why do I want to share and help others?
Because I'm grateful.
It's very important to review your actions and values to ensure that you are not drifting away from your core beliefs. Follow others who believe what you believe, however, make it your own.
