We are presently accepting resumes for a number of
Permanent Part-Time Support Workers to work on in our group homes in
Barrie.



Compensation Package:

These positions will be assigned to our permanent day line working up to 59.5 hours bi-weekly between the hours of 7am and 8pm with shift lengths either 10, 11 or 12 hours (i.e. 7am to 6pm or 8am to 6pm or 7am to 7pm etc.).

  • Additional hours may be available with a minimum rate of pay of $23.56/hour;
  • 11 paid Statutory Holidays;

Following the successful completion of probation:

  • Employer paid sick time;
  • Vacation hours;

Minimum Qualifications:


  • When submitting your resume and cover letter, please also upload a copy of your diplomas / degrees. In your resume, please ensure that you specify the length of your programs;
  • Availability for days, weekends, and statutory holidays;
  • A valid "Class G" driver's license and reliable transportation are considered an asset.

Role/Duties:


Our Direct Support Workers provide support to individuals with intellectual disabilities with all aspects of daily living within a group home setting.

Responsibilities may include providing support during overnight shifts, personal care, household duties, meal preparation and finances. You may also support people to appointments or events to foster connections within the community.
