What will you be doing?

  • Answer all incoming telephone calls with a high degree of professionalism and ensure that they are routed promptly, so as to satisfy our customer needs for prompt response.
  • Show guests to the signin kiosk and assist them with any signin issues. Make sure they are attended to promptly.
  • Create a polite, comfortable and professional atmosphere for our clients, guests and callers, to make them feel they are receiving a high level of professional service.
  • Manage the coffee bar by opening, cleaning and closing the two coffee machines daily. Ensure that water, coffee beans, tea and milk are refilled and restocked on as needed basis.
  • Assist the showroom facilitator with client experience and executive meetings, including providing beverages and lunch.
  • Assist marketing, facilities and HR departments with invoicing.
  • Support in other administrative functions as needed.
  • Maintain corporate book for telephone and extensions and update the phone directory online as needed.
  • Order courier services for packages and taxi services as requested.
  • Ensure that reception and showroom business centre is maintained and looks professional.
  • Maintain an adequate inventory of supplies and prepare a purchase request list.
  • Work hours: 9 am 5 pm

What skills, experience and education are we looking for?

  • 1 to 2 years of previous related experience, exposure to furniture industry is an asset
  • Superior interpersonal skills, with ability to work with all levels of internal and external customers
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Must have a high degree of demonstrated professionalism, versatility and organization skills
  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player
  • Bilingual/other languages would be an asset
