Description
Accounting AssistantDuties:
- Perform clerical tasks such as data entry, filing, and organizing financial documents
- Manage payroll processes and ensure accurate and timely payments
- Process accounts payable transactions and maintain vendor records
- Utilize 10key typing skills to accurately input financial data
- Prepare journal entries and reconcile financial statements
- Provide support to the accounting team in various financial services
Experience:
- Previous experience in an accounting and Quickbooks
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Salary:
$16.00-$18.00 per hour
Flexible Language Requirement:
- French not required
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Brampton, ON L6W 1H9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Accounting: 1 year (preferred)
- Bookkeeping: 1 year (preferred)
