Trillium Health Partners (THP) is the largest community-based academic health network in Ontario, including ten clinical programs, the Regional Cancer Centre and the Regional Molecular Genetics Program.
- Defining preanalytic conditions;
- Creating an annual work plan, including oversight of validations of new tests and instruments;
- Managing and monitoring of quality metrics through the quality management system, including results of internal and external quality assurance activities for core laboratory and pointofcare programs;
- Develop, Maintain and review testing enhancements, changes and utilization.
- Educating healthcare professionals, including laboratory staff;
- Developing laboratory policies and procedures, including laboratory manuals;
- Providing afterhours coverage with colleagues.
