Junior Technician/Support Specialist

Technical Responsibilities:
- Assist Senior Support Specialist with new installations of AV equipment and /or Printer & Multi-Functional Devices including set up, networking, print driver and associated utilities install & configuration
- Function in a client facing Technical Specialist capacity providing support for customers and prospects as it relates to our product & services offerings
- Ensure customer issues and escalations are resolved or further escalated as appropriate
- Conduct quality checks on own work to ensure accuracy and required output is to standards
- Perform quality checks on equipment including troubleshoot, diagnose and correct performance, image quality, electronic and mechanical issues
- Complete routine preventative maintenance procedures as per manufacturer's stringent guidelines

REQUIREMENTS:
- Ontario SSD 12 or equivalent experience.
- Ontario College Diploma an asset
- Requires a valid driver's license and reliable transportation with auto insurance
- Experience in the Audio Visual, Office Equipment, and VoIP Phone systems world is an asset.
OTHER:
- Actively participate in professional development and maintain knowledge of current and new technology offered by The Corporate Group of Companies.
Hours:
- This is a contractual, fulltime position between the hours of 8am 5pm
- As a growing company, this position is anticipated to evolve into a fulltime employment opportunity.
COMPENSATION:
Job Types:
Full-time, Fixed term contract, Apprenticeship
Salary:
$17.00-$24.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Supplemental pay types:
- Overtime pay
