Four Rivers Co-op is hiring a
FULL-TIME PERMANENT YARD ATTENDANT at our Home Centre in Vanderhoof, BC.

What you'll do:

Reporting to the Yard Supervisor you will be responsible for:

  • Demonstrating Four Rivers Co-operative's values of Service, Integrity, Excellence and Responsibility in everything we do
  • Working cooperatively with team members who deliver excellent service to make all guests of our Coop feel "at home here."
  • Operating a forklift to unload supplier trucks in a safe and efficient manner
  • Loading customer vehicles ensuring excellent customer service is provided and correct products are loaded
  • Performing daily cleaning and general upkeep of the facility including keeping yard and storage areas organized and clean
  • Ensuring company policies including the Health and Safety program are always adhered to

  • Adaptable, organized, efficient and committed
  • Be a team member with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple demands
  • A commitment to quality and an eye for detail
  • Forklift experience would be considered an asset
  • Have a valid driver's license
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs as required
  • Experience in retail in a similar position
  • You are resultsoriented and strive to be the best in what you do
  • You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives

The pay scale for this position is$16.75-$22.95 per hour. Starting pay of applicants will be based off knowledge, skills and experience.
