Waymarc Industries Ltd. is a leading distributor of storage systems.

We design, sell, and install shelving, pallet racking, lockers, structural mezzanine systems, automotive technician & other service benches, small and large parts storage equipment, and modular drawers.

Established since 1975, we offer innovative solutions to all our customer's storage needs with branches in Edmonton, Calgary, and Saskatoon.


We are looking for a Sales Administrator, based out of the Edmonton branch.


This position will be responsible for performing all administrative duties for the full cycle of sales orders from start to finish as well as data entry and other administrative duties to support the sales team.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS_

  • Process orders for the sales team
  • Purchase product related to the sales orders and for stock
  • Communicate with vendors and track the arrival of the product
  • Communicate with freight companies, vendors and clients to facilitate shipments
  • Update clients and sales team with ETA's
  • Receive product in inventory management system
  • Invoice clients and upload required documents to various client portals
  • Participate in month end invoicing and reconciliation
  • Maintain and update various documentation and client information
  • Basic knowledge of storage systems to assist walk in clients
  • File paperwork
  • Answer phones
  • Receive incoming mail and packages

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS_

  • Must be able to proportionately divide time as needed among all responsibilities to meet daily expectations
  • Demonstrated ability to produce high quality work with an exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Able to maintain a professional and friendly attitude when communicating with clients and vendors
  • Have the ability to work as a team
  • Be adaptable and work together to find solutions when problems arise
  • Ability to work a Monday
  • Friday, 8am to 5pm shift
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills specifically in Microsoft office and order entry systems
  • Willingness to take on other tasks as needed

EXPERIENCE_

  • 1year general office, receptionist, data entry, or administrative support experience preferred
  • Proficient at operating telephones, computer, and copier

Salary:
From $45,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • 8am 5pm
  • Monday to Friday

Education:


  • Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

- administrative assistant: 1 year (preferred)
