We currently have a need for a Financial Analyst.

SCOPE OF THE POSITION

THE MANDATE:

Analyze production runs to ensure proper consumption of raw materials and packaging with a three part focus on quality, inventory and cost.

Analyze production runs and prepare waste reporting, analytics.
Provide statistical and financial reporting on Operational results that is timely and accurate.
Understand Post Production role to collaborate and explain causes of waste to management team.
Update and analyze plant expenses and review with plant department managers.
Prepare month end close analytics, corresponding journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
Assist in monthly forecast and annual budget preparation.
Assist in Year End Audit and Close Activities.
Other adhoc duties as assigned.

THE CANDIDATE

University or college degree in in accounting or finance, preferably management accounting.
Minimum 3 years of experience in Finance or related field.
Experience in manufacturing industry or inventory management is a strong asset.
Must have strong Excel skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong data collection and analytical skills.
Ability to multitask and problem solve in a fastpaced and results driven environment.
