  • As a Benefits Coordinator, you administer Arc'teryx's employee group benefit plans and programs in Canada. You will support in service reporting needs and employee queries, and assist with policy development and process improvements to ensure that our employees' wellbeing is top priority.

  • You will work within our total rewards team alongside benefits experts who are dedicated to ensuring the effective management, administration, and communication of our group benefits plans, programs, and other related initiatives. We are committed to creating an exceptional employee experience by acting as trusted advisors on benefits related topics and inquiries, and ensuring our employees understand the value and flexibility of their benefits coverage.

If you were a Benefits Coordinator now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:

  • Administering employee group benefit plans and group retirement savings plans for all eligible Canada employees
  • Preparing related benefit journal entries and submitting payment requests
  • Supporting the business through being the contact for escalated issues, both inside and outside of the team, providing timely, accurate, and relevant responses to employee inquiries
  • Collaborating with the Payroll team to ensure that employer contributions and payroll deductions and adjustments are processed in a timely, accurate manner
  • Ensuring compliance with federal and provincial statutory regulations
  • Executing accurate and timely processing of enrolments, terminations, and changes to employee/member records on internal benefit systems
  • Ensuring quality and accuracy of employee data and that the data is uptodate in all systems
  • Building and sustaining relationships as the primary contact for benefits plan vendors and thirdparty administrators
  • Documenting and maintaining uptodate communications, policies, and training materials
  • Delivering benefits presentations during onboarding sessions to employees to help educate and promote benefit offerings
  • Communicating with employees in providing the required materials for benefits open enrollments
  • Assisting in employee benefit reporting, reconciliation, auditing and other special projects and duties based on business needs

  • Coordinating the roll-out of benefit program and/or policy changes
  • Contributing to the improvement of benefits processes and initiatives to create a seamless and enhanced employee experience
  • Assisting in the development of communication tools and selfserve resources to enhance the understanding of the company's benefits programs

Are you our next Benefits Coordinator?:

  • You have a certificate in Human Resources Management or Certified Employee Benefits Specialist program, with a minimum of 2 years' experience as a group benefits administrator, or similar role
  • You have, or are working towards, CEBS GBA 1 or are willing to obtain
  • You have intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook PowerPoint).
  • You have strong organization, time management and interpersonal skills
  • You have the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in an appropriate manner
  • You have a desire to learn, a passion to try new things, and an ability to follow through on commitments
  • You have a strong sense of logic that allows you to quickly identify and find solutions to problems, with an unwavering commitment to do what is right
  • You effectively balance autonomy and collaboration
  • You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement
  • Your passion for your work is paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living it
