- Competitive pay. Your compensation will be based on your registered ITA trade level, cumulative skills, and work experience.
- 9/80 Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9 hours/day (Sat/Sun off), alternating with Monday through Thursday, 9 hours/day (Fri/Sat/Sun off).
- Travel Pay: 3 hrs. maximum per rotation.
- LOA: $150.00/day.
- Eligibility for Benefits: After accumulating just 300 work hours, you become eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.
- Experience job stability fostering the potential for personal and professional growth within our organization.
- Study blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the type of pipe and instruments to use and lay out the sequence of tasks.
- Draft detailed sketches for pipe and equipment fabrication and installation.
- Measure, cut, thread, groove, bend, assemble, and install metal, plastic, and fibreglass pipes, valves, and fittings.
- Join pipe sections and related equipment and secure in position.
- Use testing equipment to check systems for leaks.
- Maintain and repair piping systems.
- Journeyperson or Apprentice Pipefitter ticket/certification.
- Valid CSTS-20, H2S Alive, and WHMIS 2015 tickets.
- Turnaround experience preferred.
- Experience with hydro testing an asset.
- Enjoy a varied workload.
- Must have your own reliable transportation.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
- Physically capable of performing all necessary duties of the job, including but not limited to heavy pulling, pushing and lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, shoveling, bending, twisting, etc.

Located in Medicine Hat, AB, this project starts on May 6th, 2024, and will continue until June 30th, 2024. It offers a convenient 9/80 shift rotation that allows you to contribute your skills as needed. As a Pipefitter, you'll be immersed in various tasks, from studying blueprints and layouts to assembling and installing pipes, valves, and fittings.
