- Education: No formal degree, certificate, or diploma required
- Experience: Between 2 to 3 years
- Establish methods to ensure work schedules are met
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff
- Provide training to staff on job duties, safety, and sanitation procedures
- Estimate ingredients and supplies needed for meal preparation
- Ensure food and service quality meet standards
- Maintain records of stock, sales, repairs, and wastage
- Assist in the social and labor market integration of newcomers and refugees
- Recruit individuals displaced by conflicts or natural disasters
- Support foreign credential recognition for newcomers and refugees
- Implement mentorship programs for these individuals
- Provide diversity and cross-cultural training for a more inclusive work environment
- Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for Indigenous employees
- Engage with and build relationships with Indigenous communities and businesses
- Provide cultural competency and awareness training for all employees
- Facilitate access to Elder support for Indigenous workers
- Implement hiring practices to prevent discrimination against visible minorities
- Establish mentorship programs for members of visible minorities
- Deliver diversity and cross-cultural training to foster inclusivity
