Role Overview:


The Regional Training Manager is a pivotal role within RFBT, responsible for planning, designing, and executing comprehensive training and development strategies to motivate employees and maximize their potential in alignment with the company's operational standards, growth and core philosophy.

This role demands a hands-on approach (working on the floor), requiring active engagement in store operations, ensuring that training initiatives meet organizational goals and maintain the highest standards of quality and effectiveness in the designated region.


Key Duties and Responsibilities:


Operational Immersion:

Engage directly in store operations, including working as a cashier and barista, to gain firsthand experience and understanding of all store tasks and processes.


Training Program Development:
Design and develop the RFBT training program and associated services. This includes identifying essential course content, selecting appropriate delivery mediums, and determining the personnel best suited to deliver training.


Strategic Collaboration:

Work closely with the Training Team to define and refine training strategies, ensuring alignment with RFBT's long-term objectives and operational standards.


Employee Monitoring:
Oversee and ensure adherence to the training manual and standard operating procedures (SOPs) by employees.


Team Management:
Lead and manage a team of Regional Trainers, effectively delegating tasks to execute the designed training programs.


Logistics Oversight:
Manage logistics and processes for ongoing training sessions, including specialized programs such as Senior Bartender Training.


Quality Control:

Implement and oversee quality control and continual improvement processes to maintain the efficacy and relevance of training content and delivery mechanisms in accordance with RFBT's standards.


Strategic Solutions:
Provide strategic direction and innovative solutions to enhance the training and development of RFBT Trainers and frontline employees.


Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Collaborate with business leaders to ensure that training programs and processes are aligned with operational requirements and future growth strategies.


Integration of Values:
Incorporate RFBT's values into the training programs and content to reinforce the company culture and ethos.


Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure all training programs comply with provincial health and safety regulations and legislation.


Evaluation and Reporting:

Assess the effectiveness of training programs through compiling assessment reports for management reviews and utilizing metrics to evaluate progress and outcomes.


Experience:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a national quick-service restaurant (QSR) brand.


Specialization:
At least 5 years of HR-related experience, particularly in Training and Development within the QSR sector.


Training Expertise:
Comprehensive understanding of educational principles and familiarity with various training methodologies and delivery methods.


Evaluation Skills:
Proven ability to implement and utilize metrics to assess training progress and effectiveness.


Communication:
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.


Training Processes:
Familiarity with both traditional and modern training processes and industry trends.


Organizational Skills:
Strong organizational and time management skills with meticulous attention to detail.


Leadership:
Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including the ability to inspire and guide a team.


Problem-Solving:
Creative thinking skills to develop innovative solutions to challenges.


Industry Knowledge:
Familiarity with the food industry is highly preferred.


Technical Skills:
Knowledge and experience in training video editing and SOP development.

$80,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
