Warehouse Operative at Cosmaroma Home Renovations Supply Store

Cosmaroma is a leading home renovations supply store that provides high-quality products and exceptional customer service. We pride ourselves in ensuring that our customers are satisfied with their purchases and have a positive shopping experience.

We are currently seeking a skilled Warehouse Operative to join our team in our North York, Steeles Ave W, Ontario location and contribute to our growth and success.

Responsibilities:

Conduct inventory counts and order products to ensure adequate stock levels
Keep uptodate with product knowledge, industry trends, and market developments
Collaborate with team members to create an enjoyable shopping experience for our customers
Perform other duties as assigned by management
Accurately receive and count inventory when new products arrive
Perform physical/visual inspection of the products
Identify and label skids with master case labels
Keep general areas tidy and aisleways clean
Any other Warehouse related tasks
Operate mechanical Forklift, winch, or any other devices
Load and unload materials with care
Dispose of leftover packaging materials such as wooden crates, pallets, and cardboard
Ensure Health and Safety protocols are followed
Clean the space from any debris that might affect someone's or your health
Welcome delivery trucks
Tag and label inventory and stocks
Following PPE requirements (safety boots, high visibility vests, hard hat) if required by the manager

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in sales, customer service, or retail
Knowledge of home renovations products and trends preferred
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
Flexibility to work on weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
