Summary:


The Supervisor contributes to the success of a store by communicating the retail objectives of their respective department to the team.

This role is responsible for assisting the Department Manager in managing and leading the department in providing high quality workmanship and service that ensures customer satisfaction.

He/she assists the Department Manager and the team in consistently meeting performance expectations in terms of customer experience, sales growth, retail execution, and profitability.


Main Responsibilities and Tasks:


  • Encourages and maintains a culture that values an excellent customer experience through effective training, supervision, and coaching.
  • Responsible for monitoring retail and nonretail areas of the store to prevent and deter external / internal theft and fraud.
  • Detecting, apprehending and processing individuals engaged in the theft and fraudulent activities.
  • Completing investigation and related reports with police agencies and the criminal justice system.
  • Using sharp perception skills and electronic surveillance technology to identify suspicious activies instore.
  • Other duties as required.

Requirements:


  • Police Foundations or Law and Security Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Full flexibility with schedule (including evenings and weekends).
  • Detail oriented.
  • Interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • High degree of integrity with ability to work independently.
  • Excellent analytical skills, strong verbal and written communication.
  • Knowledge of retail procedures and criminal / civil proceedings.
  • Ability to adapt and cope with challenging and changing situations.
  • Ability to find solutions to problems and make decisions.
  • Positive attitude, punctuality, and solid work ethic.
