Reporting to the Audit Committee, the Internal Auditor will provide independent assurance that our regulatory compliance, risk management, governance, and internal control processes are operating effectively.

Responsibilities:

Develop Internal Audit plan that provides an appropriate balance of coverage of key risks/regulatory compliance in addition to coverage of core processes and strategic objectives. Audit plan will include operational, regulatory compliance, and financial audits.
Build strong relationships with senior management and ensure broader management team is aware of Internal Audit activity, status of audits, management remediation actions etc.
Assess internal controls, processes, and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulations
Complete audits in a timely manner, to a high quality and in accordance with Internal Audit plan.
Prepare clear, accurate, and wellorganized audit work papers that appropriately document the testing performed.
Assess audit results and develop meaningful recommendations for improvement which can be effectively implemented by management given the existing business, control risks, and other cost/benefit considerations.
Prepare audit reports that reflect audit results and remediation plans.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

Minimum of 46 years of audit experience in professional services and/or specific relevant internal audit industry experience required.
Ideally hold an Internal Audit qualification, or be able to demonstrate strong knowledge of Internal Audit requirements and best practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Highly motivated selfstarter, flexible, resilience to challenge/be challenged.
Excellent attention to detail.
Deadline driven and capable of working independently.
Knowledge or background in iGaming industry is an asset.
