Reporting to the Audit Committee, the Internal Auditor will provide independent assurance that our regulatory compliance, risk management, governance, and internal control processes are operating effectively.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop Internal Audit plan that provides an appropriate balance of coverage of key risks/regulatory compliance in addition to coverage of core processes and strategic objectives. Audit plan will include operational, regulatory compliance, and financial audits.
  • Build strong relationships with senior management and ensure broader management team is aware of Internal Audit activity, status of audits, management remediation actions etc.
  • Assess internal controls, processes, and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulations
  • Complete audits in a timely manner, to a high quality and in accordance with Internal Audit plan.
  • Prepare clear, accurate, and wellorganized audit work papers that appropriately document the testing performed.
  • Assess audit results and develop meaningful recommendations for improvement which can be effectively implemented by management given the existing business, control risks, and other cost/benefit considerations.
  • Prepare audit reports that reflect audit results and remediation plans.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 46 years of audit experience in professional services and/or specific relevant internal audit industry experience required.
  • Ideally hold an Internal Audit qualification, or be able to demonstrate strong knowledge of Internal Audit requirements and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly motivated selfstarter, flexible, resilience to challenge/be challenged.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Deadline driven and capable of working independently.
  • Knowledge or background in iGaming industry is an asset.
