Sigma Power is currently seeking a full time site based maintenance and project coordinator. This is a fly in/fly out, 4 on 3 off, position based in Fort McMurray, AB.

Responsibilities
Reporting to our Technical Services Regional Superintendent, the Maintenance & Project coordinator will:

• Provide leadership in health and safety performance. Active participation in safety programs and monitoring health and safety performance is at the core of all job responsibilities for this position.
• Provide mentorship and enhance development of employees.
• Schedule project resources as required. Includes Manpower / Equipment & Materials.
• Provide technical QA/QC support for maintenance and project documentation. Includes working with the site QC team to understand technical scopes of work and build client ITPs for acceptance.
• Prepare quotes and proposal documents.
• Manage employee training database including certificates
• Manage test equipment database and ensure equipment remains in calibration & good repair
• Assist in managing project logistics such as travel and accommodations.
• Assist in preparation of project documents such as JHA's, Schedules and other documentation as required.
• Manage project folder documentation, assist in turnover, and take ownership of job log accuracy and job log archiving.
• Provide daily updates / reports to clients based on job / project requirements
• Additional duties as needed to meet operational requirements.

Qualifications

• CET Designation / Electrical Eng or PSE with relevant management and project experience.
• Self Motivated / Self Starter, with ability to prioritize tasks with little supervision.
• Work as part of a team and as an individual to support client needs.
• Strong working knowledge of MS platform software and SAP
