Description

JD Sports Canada is looking for a full-time Warehouse Manager who will be responsible for managing our Western Distribution Centre.

You will be a player-coach, actively working in the warehouse providing product for customers of JD Sports, size? and Livestock, while coaching and leading the team.


As the Warehouse Manager, you will implement a distribution strategy to ensure our customers receive the highest possible service and improve our competitive advantage.


Key Duties/Responsibilities:


  • Leading and managing the performance of our warehouses with the distribution of retail and eCommerce merchandise to all warehouses, retail stores, and customers.
  • Implement and develop a distribution strategy to ensure that our warehouses are optimized to run smoothly and efficiently regardless of season, releases, or sales volumes.
  • Leading and managing the Warehouse team leads to ensure they are working collaboratively and efficiently
  • Implement and develop a safety program to meet regulatory requirements to achieve "best in class" safety record.
  • Identify opportunities to improve warehouse systems and processes, and cost efficiencies.
  • Develop, track, and report on all Warehouse KPI and financial data.

Skills/Experience/Knowledge needed:


  • Proven experience in multichannel distribution.
  • Ability to see the big picture of how to organize multiple teams for multiple brands and a variety of different types of releases.
  • Ability to work on strategic and tactical levels with excellent problemsolving skills
  • Ability to build reports for stakeholders across the business that show the efficacy of the Distribution Centre.
  • Strong leadership ability that will build up, motivate and inspire our teams.
  • Strong communication, crossgroup collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong disciplined approach to process/project management.
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate and foster a highperformance team.
