Located in Saint-Hubert, on the South Shore of Montreal, The Product Support team provides a wide range of services to customers from all over the world.

It is in our recent building, bright and sheltered from traffic jams, that we help our customers to operate the landing gears designed by Héroux Devtek over the years.

Summary of position:


Reporting to the Account Manager and Logistics, the Logistics Agent is responsible of managing the Product Support spares parts warehouse, parts receiving and shipments, quarantine management, and shelf-life management.

The logistics agent works in a regular week, however he may be required to work during weekends or at night if a special request due to aircraft-on-ground (AOG).


Main responsibilities:

  • Manage the Product Support Warehouse operations (receiving, inspection, paperwork verification, storage, inventory maintenance, picking, packaging and shipping activities).
  • Coordinate shipments with carriers.
  • Responsible of import/export documentation and duties.
  • Perform aircraft parts receptions and shelflife and quarantine management.
  • Perform web portal transactions, and archive relevant documentation for traceability purposes (maintain spare parts files and documentation, airworthiness documents, invoices, log cards, shelf life, obsolescence, etc.).
  • Use inventory management software and ERP for inventory control and prepare periodically inventory reports.
  • Make claims with transport companies if delivered merchandise has been damaged.
  • Handle and stores merchandise or special products that require some knowledge of spontaneous combustion, toxicity, fragility, rapid deterioration, contamination, etc.
  • Oversee the delivery of merchandise following an established schedule and coordinates special deliveries by transmitting the necessary details to the persons concerned.
  • Use equipment necessary for the handling, shifting, or moving of material, such as a hand truck, forklift, hydraulic platform, etc.

Qualifications:


  • Experience in a similar field would be an asset.
  • Functional French/English.
  • MS office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • ERP system (Baan/SAP) asset
  • Experience using forklift (asset)
  • Autonomous, organized and capable of working under pressure on a fast paced environment with changing priorities.
