    Description
    Job Title: Business Office Support Assistant


    Come join our team at a 220-bed Long-Term Care and 60-bed Supportive Living Home in Red Deer, Alberta! As a Business Office Support Assistant reporting to the Office Manager, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining the office operations smoothly.


    RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Greet visitors and offer general information
    • Provide clerical support including document creation, editing, and formatting
    • Handle incoming calls and direct them appropriately
    • Manage office supplies and distribution
    • Maintain internal records and prepare reports
    • Handle accounting tasks like accounts payable/receivable and petty cash
    • Assist with financial services terminology and budget maintenance
    • Follow safety protocols as directed


    QUALIFICATIONS
    • Post-secondary diploma/certificate in office or business administration preferred
    • Understanding of banking practices and basic accounting
    • Knowledge of accounts receivable and payable
    • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Power Point
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent time management
    • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to work independently and take initiative
