Richelieu Hardware is currently seeking a Coatings Color Technician for the
Dartmouth, NS.
 The Coatings Color Technician will have the following responsibilities:


Responsibilities

  • Determine formula of color to match customer sample.
  • Read job orders, inspect surfaces, and determine procedures and materials for each job
  • Inspect finished surfaces and retouch any defective areas.
  • Clean and properly prepare surfaces to be tinted or coated.
  • Maintain all coating/tinting, and warehouse quality control standards.
  • Represent the company in a highly professional, safe, and costeffective manner.
  • Maintain a satisfactory driving record and comply with all safety and other applicable regulations.
  • Provide warehouse support when required which may include working as a warehouse helper, shipping and receiving helper, or a traffic helper.

Requirements:


  • High School Diploma or professional diploma in a related field.
  • Eye color accuracy and outstanding precision to see color tint.
  • Based chemistry knowledge, an asset.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Good organizational skills and be able to work under tight deadline.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs.
  • Dedicated, initiative and team player.
  • Ability to operate a standup forklift.
  • Ability to lift more than 50 lbs.
