BOOM TRUCK DRIVER
This is a full-time permanent position.

The Boom Truck Driver is responsible for deliveries throughout Ontario, providing first class customer service, assisting in loading and unloading trucks, ensuring loads are properly secured, assisting forklift drivers (load building), and general labor duties.

This is straight day shift, you will be home every night

Major intersection:
Zen way Blvd & Huntington rd. -Vaughan, ON


Pay rate:
$22-23/hr.

Day shift


Workdays:
Mon

  • Fri (Steady hours) OT provided

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Material and Equipment pickup and delivery to and from Job Site
  • Ensure all Materials and Equipment loaded on truck are properly secured
  • Strapping and unstrapping loads
  • Performing pre/post trip inspections
  • Crane materials and equipment to and from warehouse
  • Assist with Material and Equipment Inventory Control
  • Maintaining an orderly yard, shop and storage area
  • Perform truck safety check and maintain log book
  • Adhere to Company Health and Safety Program
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Valid Boom Truck License and clean drivers abstract
  • Minimum 2 year Boom Truck Experience preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 80 pounds
  • Initiative, good attendance record and dependable
  • High School Diploma preferred
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to Multi-Task

Salary:
per hour based on experience


Salary:
$21.00-$23.00 per hour


Flexible Language Requirement:

  • French not required

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Morning shift
  • Overtime

Experience:


  • Boom truck: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Boom Truck license (preferred)
