Supply Chain Systems Analyst (1-year contract)


What you will do:

  • Contribute to overall distribution efficiency at Wolseley via benchmarking, studying local hubs.
  • Coordinate quality control objectives and activities to resolve operational problems, maximize process reliability, and minimize cost.
  • Communicate with management and user personnel to develop operational standards.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders across multiple teams, gathering requirements and delivering complete solutions
  • Partner with Engineering and Software Development Engineers to prioritize and define supply chain technology needs
  • Work with logistics and distributions teams to identify new capabilities and projects
  • Conduct deep dive investigations into operations execution and business problems, identify opportunities, and lead or support implementation (role varies by opportunity).
  • Develop queries and visualizations for requests and projects, as well as ongoing reporting.
  • Drive best practice with WMS SOPs and jobaids
  • Working with local branch leadership and operations
  • Troubleshooting and operational/userbased support for HighJump WMS
  • Liaise with WMS support and IT on technical issues
  • Provide functional support on other logistics related integrations and functions
  • Plan and establish sequence of operations to promote efficient utilization.
  • Complete reports, purchase orders, and material, tool, and equipment list.
  • In addition to the essential job functions described below, all associates will perform duties as requested by management.
  • Coordinate accurate entry and maintenance of relevant WMS data
  • Create reports to monitor and streamline WMS process efficiency

What you will bring:

  • Postsecondary degree in supply chain, business, or related field
  • 35 years' experience in a Supply Chain Systems Analyst position
  • Familiar with leading WMS and TMS platforms
  • Experience using Power BI and Tableau
  • Excellent problemsolving abilities
  • Strong business acumen
  • Comfort with technical teams and systems
  • Takes initiative and comfortable with ambiguity
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Enjoy working with large cross functional teams
