About Sobotec
Position
Basic Qualifications Include
- Post-Secondary education in Health & Safety
- Strong communication skills
- Must be fluent in English. Other languages are considered an asset.
- JHSC Certification is an asset
Position Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve health and safety programs, policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company expectations.
- Identify hazards and risks through audits, inspections and assessments and recommend corrective measures to the JHSC and Management.
- Deliver and/or arrange Health and Safety training to employees and subcontractors.
- Investigate accidents and aid in the Return to Work process.
- Other duties as required.
