Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies and policies
  • Oversee the procurement process, including sourcing, negotiating, and contracting with vendors
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their purchasing needs and requirements
  • Analyze market trends and conditions to identify potential suppliers and ensure competitive pricing
  • Manage supplier relationships, including performance evaluations and contract renewals
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies
  • Utilize MRP systems to track and manage purchasing activities
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to optimize the supply chain process
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in procurement

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager within the same or simlar industry
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and supply chain management principles
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Word, Excel and ERP systems
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed purchasing decisions
  • Detailoriented with strong organizational skills
