Skills & Qualifications
- A Certificate of Qualification and/or Inter-Provincial Red Seal Certificate in Carpentry or related trade
- Five years' experience working in the residential construction industry
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in both individual and group situations
- Preference will be given to applicants with recent trade experience and proven teaching and/or supervisory experience
- Provincial (BC) Instructor Diploma will be considered an asset
- Previous experience working with First Nations students and communities will be considered an asset
Hiring criteria shall include professional qualifications, professional experience, teaching experience, college contributions, community awareness and personal attributes so far as they are applicable to the job classification in question.
