Work Description
As a Museum Attendant, you may have the opportunity to work on some or all of the following activities:

Welcome visitors, conduct tours, and provide information.
Provide care and maintenance of exhibits.
Respond to requests for group/bus tours and/or special events.
Conduct security checks for visitors to the building.
Be responsible for opening and closing the exhibits.
Maintain records for admissions, and manage cash and complete transactions.
Provide community outreach in support of programming.
Participate in the design, development, and delivery of public programs.
Plan, organize, coordinate, and manage assigned work.

How do I qualify?:

Mandatory:
You must meet all eligibility criteria by the first day of employment (contracts begin between May and July):

Age:
You must be a minimum of 15 years of age. There is no maximum age limit.

Residency:
You must be a resident of Ontario during the term of employment.

Work Status:
You must be legally entitled to work in Canada. You are also required to have a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN) upon being hired.
