- Typing, filing, and photocopying
- Updating manuals and preparation of letters/documents
- Data entry, contract preparation, and quotation requests
- Purchase orders, corridor management, and permitting
- Input field data, invoices, payment, and other information into Excel Spreadsheets and databases
- Provide accurate, organized, and efficient administration support to the Highway Technical Services team
- Summarize information for the Sr. Manager, Highway Technical Services
- Assist with filing encroachment applications/permits, drawings, and other records
- Digitizing records and drawings as well as drawing inventory clean-up
- Assist with the preparation of purchase orders and procurement documents
- Updating manuals and spreadsheets
- Maintain and update electronic and hard copy filing systems
- Develop and prepare a variety of documents, reports, and forms
- Assist in the preparation of tender packages to send to contractors
- Excellent documentation, communication, and organization skills
- Detail-oriented and committed to accuracy
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio
- General knowledge of accounting, accounts payable, and cost reporting/tracking is an asset
- Team player capable of working independently
- Ability to prioritize and work well under pressure
- Strong interpersonal, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility in duties performed
