Our hotel is currently seeking an out of the ordinary individual to join us in the position of
Merchandise Receiver Clerk Part-Time.



Your role:

We are looking for a qualified and talented individual with experience in customer service, purchasing and receiving.

The Merchandise Receiver Clerk is responsible for carrying out all tasks related to material handling and safety during the receipt, classification and distribution of merchandise.

The individual is also responsible for the administrative work involved in goods receipt, purchasing and internal product distribution. As such, you will be an integral part of inventory verification.

Reporting to the Director of Accounting, this position supports all hotel departments and is integral to our success.

Your main responsibilities:


  • Greet all clients according to company standards, anticipate and deal with clients' service needs;
  • Assist in the receipt and storage of goods;
  • Handling light to heavy loads, making deliveries of goods to the hotel's various warehouses and ensuring stock rotation;
  • Take inventory and prepare various control reports, including weekly and monthly inventories;
  • Receive and send merchandise by special courier;
  • See to the cleaning of the goods receiving area and various storage points;
  • Keep warehouses and loading docks organized and clean.

  • Very good knowledge of MS Office suite (Word, Excel and Outlook);
  • Fluency in French and English.
  • At least 1 year experience as merchandise receiver clerk or in a similar position.

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 24 per week


Salary:
$24.84 per hour
