Facilities Maintenance Coordinator responsible for coordinating all aspects of facilities maintenance, purchasing of materials and maintaining accurate records, ensuring efficient communication between internal departments and external suppliers.

What You Will Do:

Maintenance Planning and Scheduling
- Help develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule for equipment and facilities.
Vendor Management
- Obtain quotes and ensure compliance with contractual terms.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiating terms and conditions to secure advantageous agreements.
Work Order Management
- Receive and prioritize maintenance requests from various departments.
- Create and manage work orders, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
Equipment and Facility Inspections
- Coordinate and document regular inspections to identify maintenance needs.
Inventory and Supplies

Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and ensure adequate stock levels.

Documentation
- Maintain accurate records of safety training, maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
What We Are Looking For:
- Effective leadership characteristics: humility, empathy, courage to inspire and enact change.
- Exceptional listening skills and high emotional intelligence, respecting differences between various ethnic groups and gender in the workplace.
- A degree/diploma in Architecture, Construction, Facilities Management or Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance coordination or a related role.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in Canadian commercial or industrial construction.
- Enthusiasm: excited to work with other people and teams.
- Flexibility: able to work at various times, including days, evenings, and weekends.
- Communication: effectively speaking with and listening to team members and customers to create a positive workplace.
- Problemsolving: finding solutions to problems, being accurate.
