Do you have a passion for problem-solving? Do you have a keen eye, strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy? The HR Administrator will focus on all things systems-related within HR - but will also be back up and support the overarching HR function.

REQUIREMENTS:

To be seriously considered for this role, please have the following in regard to:

  • Experience: A minimum of three (3) years of systems, payroll experience
  • Hands on experience with HRIS systems and payroll function. Knowledge and understanding of data integrity and checks in place to ensure accuracy.
  • Education: Post-Secondary degree/postgraduate in Human Resources Management
  • Skills: You must have superior planning, organization and prioritization skills while ensuring a focus on quality. Attentive to detail while able to see the broader picture in order to identify efficiencies.
  • Characteristics: This is an autonomous position, so you should be selfsufficient and selfmotivated. A systems oriented person, you love to dig into how something is set up, looking for understanding and opportunities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

These will include main tasks but does not encompass every aspect of the role:

  • Owning & Maintaining the HRIS system (Ceridian Dayforce), consistently looking for innovative ways to efficiently manage processes and support the business
  • Payroll processing, ensuring timesheet entries are accurate, pay codes and rules are working, auditing of data and committing. Processing of ROEs and T4s and able to speak to Service Canada regarding matters.
  • Administration and ongoing accuracy of all systems, including group benefits, pension portals and other employee data driven programs.
  • Aligning with HR team to support other functions with HR.
