Job Duties/Qualifications, Skills and Abilities(QSA):
- Job Duties
Job Duties - 1.
providing tutorial, counselling assistance; facilitating labs, scenario skill practice, small groups and lectures; evaluating course/program and result of teaching process; and revising/maintaining curriculum.
Responsibilities may also include Practicum Coordination for both hospital and ambulance practicum sites.- Develop and maintain community/agency partnerships.
- Manage the learning environment in both classroom and practicum settings.
- Participate in Program and School related initiatives.
- Act as a practicum liaison for Paramedic students and preceptors, assisting with completion of paperwork or evaluation.
- Establish and maintain external relationships with counterparts from other educational institutions, simulation lab professionals, vendors, representatives of the community, health industry and health education leaders, nationally and internationally.

Specific Accountabilities
Duties
Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities (QSA)
- 1.
- A minimum of two years experience as an EMT-P/ACP.
- Licensed with Saskatchewan College of Paramedics.
- Current Instructor level certification in International Trauma Life Support (ITLS).
- Current Provider level certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
- Well developed interpersonal and communication skills including excellent written and oral presentation skills and an ability to develop and maintain productive working relations with instructors, program administrators, employers, students, other clients and the public.
- Experience facilitating students in a precepted practicum.
- Ability to function as a team member in an ever-changing environment.
