Ameresco Canada is looking to fill the role of commissioning manager to work with our team during the design, construction, and commissioning stages of renewable energy infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities:
Lead the commissioning process for our energy infrastructure projects;
Commission electrical systems in cooperation with manufacturers representatives to ensure equipment operation as per manufacturer's recommendations, related codes and standards, and design intent;
Provide commissioning/operations related technical support to the project manager/director and technical design team;
Attend client program meetings as needed;
Troubleshoot Ameresco's existing assets and assets under Operations and Maintenance contracts and assist with equipment preventative maintenance;
Ensure compliance with company, industry, trade, and jurisdictional safety standards, practices, and codes;
Foster positive and effective business relationships at all levels and project phases; and
Perform other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years of commissioning and servicing utility grade electrical infrastructure projects and/or renewable energy projects (BESS, PV)
Valid Drivers' License in good standing, issued by resident province.
Ability to travel and be away from home for extended periods of time.
Additional Qualifications:
Proven experience with Ontario safety standards, practices, and codes;
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and foster positive business relationships;
Strong verbal, written, computer, technical communication and presentation skills;
Proficient with MS Office Suite of Tools including MS Word, Excel, Project
Multi-tasking ability
