Duties:

The Elementary Office Administrator is responsible for performing secretarial and clerical duties, record-keeping and organizational services.

Acts as the receptionist and manages the flow of office tasks to ensure timely completion as well as assists the administration and staff in the efficient, professional operation of the office and school.


Requirements:


The successful applicant will possess:

  • Ontario Secondary School Graduation Diploma;
  • A community College Diploma in Office Administration or equivalent certification or experience;
  • Knowledge of office procedures and the use of office equipment;
  • An aptitude in computer operations and above average skill in word processing and spreadsheets;
  • Previous experience with the computerized student information system an asset;
  • Accounting and cash management experience;
  • Strong oral and written communication skills;
  • Ability to multitask.
