Metal Fabrication Programer/Operator for a New Prima CNC Turret Punch with CNC Auto Bending Station

Our Systemair facility located in Tillsonburg Ontario is the manufacturing center of commercial air handling units (AHU) for North America.

Our clean, air-conditioned plant along with state-of-the-art equipment
(Prima Power Servo-Electric Press Brakes,
Shear/Punch Combi w/ fully automated coil and sheet loading and finished part stacking equipment) and family like atmosphere provides a safe, comfortable and friendly work environment.

We are currently looking for
Metal Fabrication Programer/Operator for Prima CNC Turret Punch with CNC Auto Bending Station to join our growing team.

This is a full-time position. Hiring into the day shift, no rotation is required.

Days:
Monday

Friday 40 hours per week. Overtime as required

Responsibilities:

Operate, monitor and manage equipment to ensure quality products and mínimal unplanned downtime.
Create, correct or improve CNC programs for parts or products in accordance with the engineering specifications.
Document CNC programming parameters according to company standards.
Perform machinery setup and operation based on the training and documentation provided.
Use your experience to assist in proper production flow.
Manage your weekly production schedule, be able to respond and accommodate BOM changes, hot parts, etc. as required.
Manage the Nesting portion of the Manufacturing parts run. Manipulated as required to maximize time used and materials consumed.
Load and unload material from machinery.
Program parts using CNC software.
Find ways to lower costs and improve quality of our products.
Provide technical support to other employees as needed.
Report completed manufacturing orders and any nonconforming products in the MRP system.
Maintain proper housekeeping of work area.
Perform various maintenance requirements to both the equipment and the tools such as calibration, specialized cleaning and minor repairs.
Liaison with the Manufacturing Team in supporting product build standards and operational requirements of sheet metal equipment and machinery.
Report issues to Team Lead and troubleshoot machine issues as they arise.
Assume other related tasks at the request of the Department Manager, Supervisor or Team Lead.

What we are looking for:

Experience operating hydraulic or servoelectric press brakes is a definite asset.
Must have good mechanical skills.
Able to use computers proficiently.
Possess a positive attitude.
Able to be coached and must have a willingness to learn.
Communicate clearly and effectively with others.
Able to work proficiently in a teamoriented setting, as well as independently.
Able to read and understand documentation (maintenance manuals, drawings etc.) supplied to them with mínimal additional instructions from a Team Lead, and complete the work as described.
Able to conduct necessary measurement and quality checks as directed.
Punctuality and good attendance are a must.

Experience:
Manufacturing: 2 years experience in above descriptions (preferred)

Salary:
$26.00-$29.00 per hour
