Job Description:

In the exciting, permanent opportunity as a Sourcing Coordinator, your objective will be to effectively handle tendering activities to support proposals while maintaining relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.

This role also ensures that procedures and documentation related to the end-to-end bid process are implemented and tracked.


Reporting to the Director, BD & Contracts, you will bring at least 2-5 years of related sourcing and tendering experience, preferably in the oil & gas energy services industry.

You will also bring an educational background in Supply Chain Management or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience.


You will be based out of Calgary, AB. This is a permanent position.

What would you be doing?

  • Educate and lead crossfunctional teams through the endtoend competitive bid process, including RFX, bid evaluations, recommendations to award, and preparing handover documentation.
  • Complete risk assessments of potential subcontractors to ensure they have the experience, operational capacity and financial resources required to work with FLINT.
  • Effective use and ongoing review of RFX documentation processes, procedures and templates to support continuous improvement.
  • Attend and lead meetings with internal stakeholders and communicate supplier status in all stages of the RFX process.
  • Maintain RFX logs and tracking, supplier submission documents, and correspondence.
  • Facilitate the prime flowdown process, working closely with the proposals team and contract specialists to mitigate risk.
  • Facilitate clarification process between FLINT, suppliers, and proposals teams during the RFX cycle, including postsubmission clarifications.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage supplier relationships effectively and collaboratively, and implement methods to drive strong supplier performance.
