Overview:

Fountain Tire Sudbury (Barrydowne) is looking for a responsible, safe and dedicated associate to join our team as a

full-time Automotive Tire Technician

What each day will bring:

Install, balance, and rotate passenger and light truck tires and wheels
Complete and maintain a variety of safety courses including Whimis, TIA, Rim Safety course, and Customer Experience Standards
The responsibility to keep yourself and your coworkers safe
Maintain tire service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis
Complete specialty tire work, which could include studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen, etc.
Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts
Pride in the work you've done keeping your customers safe and on the road, site or field

What kind of person are we looking for?

We would love to find an expert in the passenger tire field but will also consider applicants with a mechanical background and the desire to learn

A valid driver's license is a must. We also need to see that you are responsible on the road by providing a satisfactory driver's abstract

This work can unpredictable, physical, wet etc and we need someone who will be up for the challenge
Someone who is ready to roll up their sleeves and work hard
Must be available for evening and Saturday work

Working conditions:

A team environment where hard work, concise communication and clear heads are rewarded
Consistent lifting of weights of approximately 55lbs is required
This work can unpredictable, physical, wet, cold, windy etc and we need someone who will be up for the challenge
This role requires nearly constant standing, crouching or kneeling
