We are seeking a Total Rewards/Compensation Analyst to join our Total Rewards team for an approximately two-year term. Under
the direction of the Compensation Lead, is responsible for supporting Total Rewards with compensation program administration and
process improvement initiatives. Will work collaboratively to provide support in maintaining and participating in the administration of
of job evaluation, compensation, reporting and analysis and work in collaboration with the Total Rewards team to ensure effective
delivery of compensation programs.


_ Responsibilities:
_


  • Provide advice and guidance to HR Business Partners, management and employees regarding the job evaluation process,
classification levels, and alternate qualifications.

  • Manage the job evaluation intake process and respond to inquiries regarding the job evaluation program and process.
  • Under the direction of a Compensation Advisor, participate in job evaluation and provide support and research for determining
- job and classification levels within Manitoba Hydro's job evaluation system.
  • Coordinate and assist in implementing corporatewide strategic salaryrelated activities, including general wage increases,
  • Provide guidance to the Employee Advisory Services staff on human resource matters, including collective agreements, policy
  • Interpret, communicate, and support the enterprise's compensation and human resources programs, policies, procedures,

- and guidelines.
  • Support and contribute to the design, maintenance, and administration of the job evaluation process and compensation
- programs (benchmarking, pay structure design, annual merit pay program, pay equity).
  • Conduct and participate in total rewards surveys that support the ongoing development of our total rewards strategy; analyze
- results, interpret data, and support the development of recommendations.
  • Support and contribute to documentation, process, and procedure creation to support ongoing process improvements.
  • Compile, maintain, and update records of compensation activities and decisions in Human Resources Management
  • Information Systems and maintain associated electronic and hardcopy records and correspondence.
  • Partner with the HR team in the implementation, communication and training of new compensation programs or

- improvements.
  • Work with HRMS and Payroll teams for coordination of crossfunctional programs and projects.

_ Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business, Commerce, or other relevant discipline, with oneyear related

  • Experience in a compensationrelated role is preferred.
  • Certification in Human Resource Management (CHRP) and/or Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) is an asset
  • Demonstrated knowledge in utilizing a point factor evaluation system and maintaining pay equity.
  • Knowledge of interpreting and comprehending collective agreements, human resource practices and processes, and

- employment-related laws.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Selfmotivated individual who can handle multiple deliverables and priorities, with a focus on continuous process

- improvement.
  • Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills to deal with a variety of stakeholders and individuals on a

- regular basis.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

_ Salary Range_
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The range for the classification is $ $43.31 Hourly,
$59, $82,983.16 Annually.
