SHIFT TIME:
9:00am - 5:30pm


SCOPE

  • Assure a continuous and ontime procurement process for all indirect materials: lab supplies, office supplies, shipping supplies, spare parts and equipment.
    Assist in taking care of all logístical issues, either domestically or internationally.

Contribute to the use and maintenance of the JAGGAER system:


  • Contribute directly to the implementation of the newly proposed P2P SAP system, once a due date is being determined (direct and indirect materials)

Be an active contributor to the creation, editing and to the correct implementation of all pertinent SOP's (warehouse/purchasing/inventory department)


Assist the Purchasing/Logistics Coordinator:


  • Display objectivity, fairness as well as professional work ethics within the department as well as while interacting with all the other departments
  • Uphold company's code of conduct and guidelines at all times, including: safeguarding company property and funds, confidentiality, workplace discipline, punctuality
  • Support company's directives and initiatives: new projects, inventory rationalization, cost savings, crosstraining initiatives

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Purchasing/Procurement

  • Take care of all elements of the indirect materials purchasing:
  • Create and maintain JAGGAER data base for all new and existing suppliers
  • Require and analyze RFQ
  • Maintain an up to date "Approved Supplier List". Perform periodic supplier surveys on new and existing vendors
  • Assist in the implementation of the most effective INCOTERMS clauses (international transactions)
  • Assist in the negotiating of contracts and service agreements. Work closely with the Purchasing/Logistics Coordinator and report to the Purchasing/Logistics Manager

2. Logistics

  • Take care of all international inbound/outbound shipments:
  • Require quotes and select vendors. Work closely with the Purchasing/Logistics Coordinator
  • Comply with CARM & CERS current CBSA regulations
  • Take care of domestic transportation for indirect materials
  • Assist the Purchasing/Logistics Coordinator in the monitoring, followup and solving delays, customs and UPS issues for all incoming HOLT/US Rx outsourced jobs

  • Able to analyze pertinent data and to make recommendations regarding steps that can be implemented to improve efficiency
  • Understand the urgency and strive to achieve our delivery goals as per current DOT goals/objectives. Contribute effectively to a smooth and on time procurement process

PRODUCT/TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE

  • Perform multiple tasks simultaneously with accuracy and thoroughness despite time pressure and work volume.

REGULATORY COMPLIANCE/SAFETY

  • Ensure that all Company approved safety programs are implemented and maintained consistently, creating a safe working environment for all employees and visitors.
  • Understand correctly and use efficiently the INCOTERMS 2020
  • Maintain and use CARM "CBSA Assessment and Revenue Management" portal (imports)
  • Maintain and use CERS CBSA "Canadian Export Reporting System" portal (exports)
