Career Details

Job Title:
Electrical Journeypersons/Apprentices (3rd/4th Year)

Number of Openings: 9 (4 Journeypersons & 4 Apprentices)

Job Type:
Full-Time/Contract

Minimum Level of Education:
Registered Journeyperson/Registered 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice

Years of Related Experience: 3-5

Locations to be Supported:
Whitecourt, AB

Shift: 10hrs/day (10 days on/4 days off)

LOA:
$180 LOA (must be approved based on residency)

Travel:
$200/shift cycle

Start Date:
September 5th, 2023

Duration: 10 Months

Position Summary

Other responsibilities include:

Reading and interpreting electrical/architectural drawings and electrical code specifications.
Pulling cables and cable tray installation.
Wiring lighting fixtures, plugs, switches, control panels.
Performing medium voltage terminations.
Testing circuits to ensure integrity and safety.
Troubleshooting and fixing defective circuits.
