This company offers a full range of event solutions, from strategy & creative development to design and production, and from partnerships relations, to marketing and promotion.


Internship:

During your internship you will be involved in ALL events and marketing activities. A challenging opportunity when you're interested in providing support for a variety of corporate, non-profit, fundraising and social events.

You will work on a number of dynamic events with a team of like-minded professionals with a passion for excellence.


Profile Student:

You have a great interest in the events industry and like to organise events from scratch. You are disciplined, able to work with deadlines, know about good time management and are a great communicator.

Daily tasks:


  • Work with a number of facilities and catering departments on sourcing, logistics, pricing and the reviewing of contracts and banquet orders
  • Assist with other visual elements at events, slideshows, technology set up etc.
  • Work on Social Media Walls at events and other technical set ups
  • Involved in new digital marketing initiatives for event marketing (research, creation, and implementation)
  • Assist in promotion and publicity of events.
  • Assist with photography, managing photographs of a variety of Toronto events
  • Research a number of event suppliers for events (entertainment, celebrities, venues, catering, décor etc.)
  • Assist with registration process for a number of client events and attendee correspondence
  • Provide onsite support at a variety of events (breakfasts, lunches, dinners, networking events, cocktail parties and golf days)
  • Assist with event themes, create marketing plans and communications plans
  • Provide creative input into hospitality needs for a variety of event programs
  • Be involved in Social Marketing 2.0, learning and executing a number of Social Marketing 2.0 campaigns "How to Market an Event in Toronto"

You are/have:


  • Good written and oral communications skills (keen to develop a variety of marketing tools)
  • Superior interpersonal skills and a strong customer service mindset
  • Ability to maintain professional composure when dealing with the public
  • Familiarity with a variety of marketing methods and tools
