Your Contribution:
As a building condition assessment specialist, you will work in collaboration with the building science team.


Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Conducting building condition assessment evaluation for a variety of commercial properties;
  • Analysing findings of the site investigations and producing BCA/FCA reports;
  • Prepare financial studies/life cycle costing for buildings;
  • Possessing familiarity with building maintenance and repair with a focus on collaborative problemsolving based on lifecycle cost analysis;
  • Perform quality control inspections for building envelope repairs and Participation in the development of building envelope repair plans and specifications (ability to perform this responsibility will be considered as an asset);
  • Coordinate with other engineering and architectural disciplines.

Your Profile:

  • Completion of a postsecondary program in applied science, Architecture or engineering from an accredited University or college diploma;
  • Minimum 3 5 years experience in a similar role;
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills including technical writing;
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time;
  • Strong knowledge or Word and Excel;
  • Strong project management skills;
  • A valid driver's license with own vehicle and travel throughout Ontario is required.
