Position:
Heavy Duty Cleaner - Nights

Location:
Nanaimo BC

Shift:
Nights, 5 days per week, 10:00pm - 6:30am

Wages:
$18.19/hour

About the role:

We are looking for cleaners to join our team at one of our sites Nanaimo. The Cleaner will be responsible for keeping the mall area in clean and orderly condition. This is a full time opportunity. Alpine is proud of the essential service we provide, keeping communities safe and sanitized

What you'll be doing:

Sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming
Cleaning and scrubbing building common areas, hallways, lobbies, bathrooms, kitchen etc.
Collect and dispose of trash in garbage containers on a regular basis
Spot cleaning walls, ceilings, glass/window cleaning, blinds, partitions, light switches & window sills
Enhanced cleaning as per work orders when requested
Additional tasks assigned by Manager

You have:

Motivation and a willingness to work and learn
Must be able to pass a background check
Strong time management skills in order to ensure all work is completed by the end of shift
Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during daily routine
Knowledge of WHMIS is not required, but considered an asset
Cleaning experience is considered an asset, but not required
