Daycare Early Childhood Educator:


As an ECE our management team will rely on you to create and implement an age appropriate program while maintaining ministry guidelines.


Job Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Creates a warm and loving positive environment.
  • Maintains licensing regulations such as program planning and implementation attendance, public health expectations.
  • Ensures the classroom is maintained in a clean, orderly, and safe condition.
  • Provides information to parents via weekly newsletter concerning their children's goals and accomplishments.

Qualifications:


  • Early Childhood Educator Diploma
  • Must be registered and a member in good standing in the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE) or in the process.
  • Experience working with children in a childcare or before and after school setting an asset
  • Welldeveloped interpersonal, and relationship building skills; ability to establish rapport and excellent communication with members, staff and volunteers
  • Current Standard First Aid & CPR-C certification
  • Ability to obtain clear valid Criminal Reference Check with Vulnerable Sector Screen

Salary:
$ $24.00 per hour (salary is dependent on experience)

40 hours per week (1 hour unpaid lunch break)

Salary:
$20.00-$22.00 per hour
