We are currently seeking an experienced Clinical Supervisor to join our team This is a Full-time Employee position.

ABA Academy is Ontario's market leader specializing exclusively in ABA therapy. Working in multidisciplinary teams with teachers and other professionals, we create access to educational solutions so families can be confident in the future of their children when facing Autism Spectrum Disorder and developmental exceptionalities. We are pleased to offer in-home and community-based services across the Greater Toronto Area including Etobicoke, North York, Markham, Thornhill, Toronto, Ajax, Pickering, Whitby and Richmond Hill.


Reporting to the Program Manager of Clinical Services and as a member of the clinical team, the Clinical Supervisor will work closely with clinical staff who implement individualized programming for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

They will provide supervision, management, support and professional development to agency staff concerning Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) practices.


Responsibilities

  • Aids in activities related to clinical supervision and training in homebased and communitybased settings.
  • Responsible for supervising and overseeing the implementation of applied behaviour analysis programs for children with ASD and related developmental disabilities.
  • Evaluates, develops, monitors, and recommends clientspecific intervention programming for young children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder or related developmental disabilities.
  • Delivers monthly supervision to each client based on a needsbased model.
  • Reviews and approves Behaviour Plans, Behavior Support Plans and Assessments for each child and family outlining goals.
  • Provides clinical training and supervision to a team of Senior Therapists and Instructor Therapists who implement Intensive Behavioural Intervention (IBI) / ABA Programs in both onetoone and group settings
  • Provide supervision, assists and support to all aspects of the Senior Therapist and Instructor Therapist's roles and responsibilities.
  • Ability to respond to clinical staff/client emergencies
  • Fills the Senior Therapist position in event of an emergency.
  • Monitors the quality and consistent delivery of the program.
  • Work collaboratively with the clinical team.
  • Follows Ontario Autism Program (OAP) guidelines
  • Follows standards, policies, and procedures set within the company.
  • Reports to the Program Manager.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Must have a Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
  • Must be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Approved Clinical Supervisor under the OAP Provider list
  • Good standing on the OAP Provider list and the BACB
  • Wellversed in the OAP guidelines.
  • Willingness to purchase Professional Liability Insurance
  • Minimum of 4years experience working as an Instructor Therapist with special needs children
  • Minimum of 1year experience working as a Senior Therapist.
  • Minimum of 1year experience in clinical and program supervision, assessment and direct service.
  • Minimum of 1year experience working in Home and Communitybased settings.
  • Excellent management, leadership, clinical, administrative, problem solving, conflict resolution, communication, interpersonal, and organization skills.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism in all interactions with clients and staff.
  • Very good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.), Google Workspace, and related productivity apps.
  • Must have a valid licence to drive in Ontario, access to a vehicle, and be willing to travel across the Greater Toronto Area.
  • Available to work during weekdays, weekends and/or evenings based on clients' and/or staff needs.
  • Willing to work overtime on evenings and weekends to support staff and operations.
  • Available to provide needsbased services.
  • Recent Police Check (not older than 6 months)
  • First Aid/CPR training
