Position Summary
Magellan Aerospace, Mississauga has an exciting new opportunity for a
Financial Analyst. The successful incumbent will take part in financial reporting and analysis. Key duties include monthly financial statement preparation as well as budget and 12 month rolling forecast preparation.


Essential Responsibilities

  • Budget and 12 month rolling forecast preparation
  • Monthly Financial statements preparation and analysis
  • Accounting for inventory and related provisions, accruals, journal entries
  • Involved with internal and external audit requirements
  • Preparation of monthly business review
  • Attend meetings
  • Maintain reconciliations, manage month end close activities
  • Mentor General Accountant, AP and payroll staff
  • Support Director, Finance and Senior Financial Analyst with special projects as required

Position Requirements

  • University and/or College Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent
  • CPA Certification
  • Min 3 years of experience in a similar position
  • Manufacturing experience a plus
  • Strong inventory experience
  • Financial statement preparation and analysis
  • Budgeting and forecasting experience in a manufacturing environment
