We are looking for someone with strong customer service skills and the ability to liaise and effectively communicate with all customers and associates.

The Operations Supervisor will manage and motivate Commercial Drivers, fencers, and yard employees to deliver superior customer service and ensuring compliance to all corporate and regulatory guidelines, codes, and legislation.

He or she will ensure that appropriate training is provided to all drivers in all aspects of safety and operational procedures.

Operations Supervisor _will also ensure that all employees have access to appropriate tools and equipment to uphold a positive corporate image for its reputation and service excellence.

He or she will work with all Drivers to ensure service is provided in a productive and efficient manner.

What you will do:


  • Schedule shifts to ensure customers obtain superior service while adhering to Hours of Service legislation.
  • Assist Dispatch with daily scheduling and routing to ensure efficient completion of daily tasks.
  • Ensure associates complete tasks accurately and with attention to detail; audit job equipment and paperwork.
  • Ensure QA and QC in the yard /Inventory and with job equipment requirements.
  • Provide technical and mechanical repair and assistance in a 24/7 environment, and daytoday problem solving and emergency response.
  • Supervise staff including: hiring, evaluations, coaching, progressive discipline, and terminations. Assists in training, and managing employees in addition to providing leadership and guidance to all associates.

What we require of you:


  • Proven track record of strong leadership and engagement skills is a must
  • Minimum 35 years' management and/or supervisory experience
  • Past experience providing superb customer service preferably in the transportation, distribution or courier industry
  • Attention to Detail is a must

Must hold a valid and clean Class 5 license_

  • Understanding of fleet operations and customer delivery
  • Excellent communication and problemsolving skills
  • Must have a safety and compliance mind set
  • Work as a team player
  • Direct people management experience is a must.
Preference will be given to those with a valid Class 3 or 1 license. Front End driver experience would be a valuable asset.

$65,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
