We are currently seeking on-call Cash Handlers for our Gatineau branch.


Your mission at GardaWorld:

As a Cash Handling Agent, you will work in various roles such as Driver/Guard, Team Leader and Vault.


GardaWorld Cash Logistics Division is the largest provider of its industry in North America and offers you the opportunity to work in an exciting, high risk occupation.

What will you do:


  • Pick up and deliver valuables to our customers
  • Ensure a safe environment for your team and your customers when you travel
  • Supply the ATMs of various financial institutions
  • Offer a quality service to our customers
  • Make sure that the itineraries and schedules established for the delivery are respected
  • Drive the armored vehicle in a safe manner while respecting the highway safety code
  • Load and unload the armored car at the branch
  • Ensure the sorting and distribution of packages
  • Carry out operations in accordance with GardaWorld procedures and regulations
  • Complete various reports and route sheets
  • All other related tasks

Your profile:


  • High school diploma (DES) or an equivalence recognized by the Ministry of Education
  • Permit to possess and acquire a nonrestricted firearm AND a restricted firearm (PAL) (* see bottom of posting for procedure to obtain)
  • Minimally available on Sundays and Thursdays from 2:00 pm to 8:30 am the next day
  • Class 5 driver's license for a minimum of two years
  • Willing to take steps to obtain a class 3 learner's permit during the hiring process (maximum 3 demerit points on driving record)
  • Good team spirit, good analytical skills and good customer service
  • Good observation and organization skills as well as a good capacity to learn and adapt

How do I get the required PAL?
the CFSC and the Canadian Restricted Firearms Safety Course (CRFSC)

You must first take the CFSC (non-restricted firearm) and CRFSC (restricted firearm) courses.
