Position Overview

Job Duties:


  • Support the branch or division with all recruitment related tasks.
  • Establish recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and Job objectives.
  • Meet with General Managers to complete a needs analysis for filling vacant positions at the local branch level.
  • Determine applicant requirements by fully understanding the job description and qualifications.
  • Support the recruitment team by posting and utilizing the current recruitment and selection job boards.
  • Contribute to various Talent/Recruitment projects that will be rolled out nationally.
  • Utilize online recruitment tools andhiring reports data to analyze results and continually improve company recruitment efforts.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of robust recruitment and selection processes, tools, and reporting.
  • Keep close communication and cooperation with business departments to ensure recruitment activities are carried out effectively.
  • Build relationships with institutions and thirdparty vendors.
  • Work under time constraints to meet specific timelines.
  • Ensure attention to detail and maintain confidentiality
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures to support a safe working environment, including safe operation of machines and equipment.
  • Comply with all Belfor policies and procedures, as well as legislative requirements.
  • Proactively communicate job site conditions and concerns that may affect or are affecting completion of the job to the appropriate person. Attend all Belfor sponsored training courses.
    Qualifications
  • 1+ year in a Talent Acquisition/Recruitment role.
  • Strong experience sourcing, particularly using online recruitment tools and social media platforms.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office & Google Product Suite.
  • Construction / Restoration / Insurance experience considered an asset.
  • Experience recruiting for entry level roles focused within the Restoration/Construction sector is an asset.
  • Ability to learn quickly, encompasses strong attention to detail, and is selfmotivated.
  • Able to effectively use business tools and equipment such as hardware and software
  • Comprehensive understanding of customer service, principles and practices.
  • Eligible to operate a motor vehicle per
    BELFOR's vehicle policy.
  • Ability to work within a team or independently as needed.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bilingual: French/English is an asset.
  • Willing to work evenings and weekends when requested.
  • Proven ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
  • Periodic travel as needed
  • Able to successfully pass a Criminal Record Check.

Physical Demands:


  • Occasional lifting from 41 lbs +, assisted (up to 25% of the time)
  • Access and mobility in tight spaces.
  • Sustained periods of standing, sitting, walking, bending, and kneeling.
