Job overview
Reporting to the IFDS Canada Board, the CEO of Canada is responsible for all aspects of the business. The CEO will establish a strategic vision for IFDS and execute against that vision.


This will include:

  • Delivery of year on year growth of revenue and margin
  • Development of new products and capabilities
  • High levels of client satisfaction and retention
  • Productivity improvements through the use of industry leading technology and tools to drive efficiency gains
  • Ensuring a strong and compliant culture
Responsibilities also include ownership of all corporate functions - Operations, Finance, Risk Management, Onboarding, Compliance, and Human Resources.


What you will do

  • Drive the development and execution of IFDS Canada's medium to long range strategy in the context of all client and stakeholder interests
  • Drive client satisfaction and optimize organizational effectiveness through the use of metricbased operational and financial performance indicators
  • Leverage industry leading technology and a global footprint (Canada, India, Asia) to further productivity developments and an exceptional client experience
  • Establish productive relationships with current and prospective clients to support achievement of revenue targets
  • Undertake progressive talent management practices to maintain a high performing workforce of engaged staff
  • Maintain effective relationships within IFDS, and within client and stakeholder organizations to further IFDS' business objectives and resolve issues
  • Optimize client satisfaction through stable, efficient Operational service delivery
  • Ensure the successful completion of projects and onboarding of new clients
  • Manage risk and regulatory compliance to the highest standards and oversee key aspects of IFDS' relationships with local regulators
  • Champion change across the organization to build scale and enhance service delivery in a growth environment
  • Oversee all Financial aspects of the business and deliver on the P&L requirements

What we require

  • A proven record of accomplishment for business growth through resultsdriven leadership in a role of equivalent scope
  • Significant experience within Financial Services in executive roles working directly with clients across the relationship management life cycle including sales, onboarding, customer success, and operational effectiveness
  • Broad functional business knowledge; experience with Transfer Agency services an asset
  • Ability to shift from formulating strategy to hands on execution of operational plans
  • Experience managing outsourced and offshore providers to deliver on a 24/7 operating model
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate relationships with multiple stakeholders including clients, partners, and shareholders in a complex, global service delivery model
  • Prior Board experience and direct experience interacting with regulators
  • Strong financial acumen and related corporate financial management experience including responsibility for the P&L
  • Experience in a global company with multicountry responsibility and demonstrated crosscultural effectiveness
  • Bachelor's degree required; master's degree in a relevant discipline is preferred
